About Dr. Tweed
I am a dedicated pediatrician, educator, and parent. As a lifelong resident of Riverside, I attended Washington Elementary, Gage Middle School, and graduated from Poly High School. My wife, Ashley, and I are proud to be raising our two daughters in Riverside.
As a pediatrician, I am dedicated to ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of all children. As an educator, I strive to provide the best possible learning experiences for my students. As a parent, I want my children to be equipped with the education, opportunities, and tools they need to pursue their dreams.
- I have practiced medicine since 2012 and have owned my own clinical practice since 2018.
- I teach students at California Baptist University (CBU), the University of California, Riverside (UCR) School of Medicine, and the Loma Linda University School of Medicine, fostering the next generation of healthcare professionals.
- My wife and I have been married 9 years and our two daughters, ages 7 and 4, proudly attend RUSD schools.
I was humbled to be appointed to complete the term of long-time RUSD Trustee Tom Hunt and will be honored to earn your vote for a full term in the November election.

I will advocate for increased funding to secure our schools, and to prioritize resources to support our students’ well-being.

Student Achievement
I will work hard to allocate more funding and resources directly to the classroom, giving teachers what they need to help our children learn.

Workforce Readiness
I will support efforts to provide more opportunities for students to pursue well-paying careers after high school, including the healthcare fields, skilled trades, and first law enforcement professions.
